Overview
GoodFetch provides browser-based utilities, backend-assisted file tools, AI-assisted tools, and public-media downloader pages. The information handled depends on the tool you choose.
Browser-processed tools
Many lightweight tools are designed to process files directly in your browser. For those workflows, GoodFetch does not intentionally upload the selected file to its processing backend. Third-party JavaScript libraries may be delivered through approved content-delivery networks, but the tool page is designed to perform the file operation locally.
Backend-assisted tools
Some tools require server-side software. When you use a backend-assisted tool, the selected file is transmitted to the GoodFetch API for the requested operation. Temporary working files may be created and are intended to be deleted after the response is completed or an error is handled. GoodFetch is not intended to be permanent file storage.
AI-assisted tools
AI-assisted pages connect through the GoodFetch API to a local model service when that service is configured. Files submitted to those tools may be temporarily processed by that local model service. Model-backed tools are not intended to train models on user submissions.
Downloader tools
Downloader pages may process a public social-media URL you submit and may temporarily retrieve publicly accessible media from the source in order to provide an available result. GoodFetch does not ask for private social-media credentials.
Technical logs and security
The service may record limited technical information such as request time, route, request identifier, network address, status code, and operational errors for security, rate limiting, debugging, and abuse prevention. Download and preview tokens are redacted from application request logging.
Analytics and cookies
GoodFetch may use privacy-relevant analytics technologies to understand aggregate website usage and performance. Browser settings and applicable consent requirements may affect whether analytics storage is used.
Advertising and third-party ad technology
GoodFetch displays advertising to help support the free service. Adsterra and advertising partners may deliver ad content and may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, IP-derived information, or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, frequency control, and—where permitted—personalization. Advertising content is provided by third parties and may link to external websites. Your browser settings, regional consent requirements, and the advertising provider’s controls can affect how these technologies are used.
Your choices
Do not submit confidential, highly sensitive, or unlawful content. You can choose browser-based tools when you prefer local file processing, and you can close the page without creating an account because GoodFetch does not currently require user accounts for these public utilities.
