General information
GoodFetch provides browser-based tools for supported public Instagram and TikTok media links. The website and its services are offered for general informational and technical purposes.
Media availability and download options depend on third-party platforms and public source data. Technical results can also be affected by service providers, network conditions, and other factors outside GoodFetch's control.
Independent third-party service
GoodFetch is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by or operated by Instagram, Meta, TikTok or ByteDance.
Platform names, product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. GoodFetch refers to them only to explain compatibility with supported public links. These references do not imply a partnership, authorization, or official relationship.
Public Instagram and TikTok links only
GoodFetch works only with supported media links that can be processed without a social media login. Do not submit Instagram or TikTok passwords, login codes, session cookies, or authentication tokens.
GoodFetch does not provide access to private profiles, followers-only posts, login-protected content, deleted media, paywalled material or content restricted by technical access controls.
A link that looks public in an official app may still be unavailable to an independent downloader. Reasons can include regional restrictions, age limits, platform changes, account settings, removal, or technical delivery rules.
No guarantee that every link will work
GoodFetch does not guarantee that every Instagram or TikTok link will be recognized, processed or made available for download. A request may fail when:
- The source post is private, restricted, expired or deleted.
- The submitted URL is incomplete, unsupported or incorrectly formatted.
- The platform changes its link format, page structure or media delivery method.
- The media is unavailable in the user's location.
- A source platform, network provider or processing service is temporarily unavailable.
- The request is blocked for security, abuse prevention or rights-related reasons.
A failed request does not necessarily mean that the original post has been deleted or that it is unavailable through the platform's official application.
Media quality and format limitations
Download quality and format depend on the files available for the submitted public link. Resolution, dimensions, frame rate, duration, file size, and audio availability can vary.
Labels such as HD, high quality, best available, source quality, or original quality describe the option found by the processing result. They do not guarantee the creator's uncompressed camera file, editing master, or original device recording.
Media may have been resized, compressed, reformatted, cropped or otherwise processed by Instagram, TikTok or another service before GoodFetch receives the public result.
Watermark-related results
A TikTok download is described as without a watermark only when the processing result identifies a clean option. GoodFetch does not guarantee that every TikTok link will provide one.
A downloaded video may still contain creator-added usernames, logos, captions, overlays, embedded marks, music attribution or branding that forms part of the uploaded media itself.
The absence of a visible platform watermark does not remove copyright, ownership, attribution requirements or any other rights connected with the video.
Publicly visible media is not automatically copyright-free
Publicly viewable media is not automatically free to copy or republish. A creator or another rights holder may still own copyright and other legal rights in the material.
Technical access to a file does not grant a license or permission to reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, sell, monetize or otherwise reuse it.
Users should download media only when they:
- Own the media themselves.
- Have permission from the creator or rights holder.
- Have obtained an appropriate license.
- Have another lawful basis for the intended use.

User responsibility
Each user is responsible for how they access, download, store, edit, share or reuse media obtained through GoodFetch. This includes responsibility for complying with applicable:
- Copyright and related intellectual-property laws.
- Privacy, publicity and personality rights.
- Consent and attribution requirements.
- Licenses, contracts and content-use restrictions.
- Platform rules and terms that apply to the user.
- Local, national and international laws.
GoodFetch does not determine whether a particular download or intended use is legal, licensed, fair use, permitted by an exception or otherwise authorized.
No ownership of third-party media
GoodFetch does not claim ownership of Instagram posts, TikTok videos, creator accounts, captions, audio, images, trademarks or other third-party content processed through the website.
All ownership interests remain with the original creators, publishers, licensors and other applicable rights holders.
Temporary technical processing
GoodFetch may process submitted URLs, media information and temporary download references for the purpose of completing a request, maintaining security, preventing abuse and diagnosing technical errors.
GoodFetch is not a permanent media archive, cloud-storage service, or backup system. Do not rely on it to preserve a file, download result, or submitted link for future access.

Accuracy of media information
Media details may come from public source data or a processing provider. This can include titles, usernames, thumbnails, dimensions, durations, and formats. GoodFetch does not guarantee that every detail is complete, current, or accurate.
Displayed information may be missing, shortened, delayed or inconsistent with information shown inside the source platform's official website or application.
Third-party platforms and service providers
GoodFetch depends on internet infrastructure and may rely on third-party hosting, security, analytics, advertising, content-delivery or media-processing services.
GoodFetch does not control Instagram, TikTok, or other independent services. Their operation, security, accuracy, policies, and availability can change. Those changes may affect GoodFetch without notice.

GoodFetch may contain links to third-party websites, advertisements, social platforms or external resources. These links are provided for navigation, attribution, reference or service functionality.
